
Renal emergencies are life-threatening clinical conditions requiring rapid diagnosis and timely management to prevent permanent kidney damage and mortality. Conditions such as acute kidney injury (AKI), hyperkalemia, pulmonary edema, severe metabolic acidosis, and dialysis emergencies are commonly encountered in hospitals and emergency departments.
There is a growing need to improve the knowledge and practical skills of healthcare professionals in recognizing and managing renal emergencies. Therefore, this Certificate Course in Renal Emergencies was designed to provide structured theoretical knowledge and practical training in the early diagnosis and management of acute renal conditions.
The course is intended for medical officers, postgraduate trainees, nurses, and allied health professionals working in emergency departments, medical wards, and intensive care units.
